We use degree to compare one thing with other and one person with another

There are three kinds of degree —
- Positive Degree;
- Comparative Degree;
- Superlative Degree;
Superlative to Positive
Superlative থেকে Positive এ পরিবর্তনের নিয়ম —-
The যুক্ত Superlative কে Positive করার নিয়ম —
শুরুতে No other বসে + এর পর Superlative এর পরের অংশ + Verb + as + Positive Degree + as + Subject
Example:
Superlative :He is the longest boy in the class.
Positive : No other boy in the class is as long as he.
Superlative : She is the most beautiful girl in the class.
Positive : No other girl in the class is as beautiful as she.
Superlative :Joy runs the fastest
Positive : No other person runs as run as joy
One of the যুক্ত Superlative কে Positive করার নিয়ম —
শুরুতে very few বসে + Superlative এর পরের অংশ + verb হবে plural + as + positive + as + Subject .
He is one of the best boy in the class.
সে ক্লাসের সেরা ছেলেদের একজন
Very few boy in the class are as good as he
ক্লাসে খুব কম ছেলেই তার মতো ভালো

Superlative থেকে Comparative এ পরিবর্তনের নিয়ম —
The যুক্ত Superlative কে Comparative করার নিয়ম……
প্রদত্ত Sentence এর Subject ও verb বসে + the উঠে যায় + Superlative এর Comparative form বসে +than any other বসে + প্রদত্ত Sentence বাকি অংশ বসে ।
উদাহরণ —
He is the longest boy in the class.
সে ক্লাসের সবচেয়ে লম্বা ছেলে।
He is longer than any other boy in the class
সে ক্লাসের অন্য ছেলেদের চেয়ে লম্বা
He is the oldest man in the village.
গ্রামের সবচেয়ে বয়স্ক মানুষ তিনি।
He is older than any man in the village.
